Sixty years after the liberation of the Grand-Duchy of
Luxembourge by American troops, this plaque was unveiled
by Their Royal Highnesses Grand Duke Henri and
Grand Duchess Maria Teresa on September 13, 2004,
as a token of gratitude of the Luxembourg people to the
American Nation for enabling them to recover their
independence and freedom.
