Side view of the lion positioned on the SE side of Grant. All lions lie atop flagpoles -- it's not visible here, but this one has an eagle on top (as does the NW lion). Up close one can discern the stars and stripes of the U.S. flag attached to the eagle-tipped flagpoles.
